In depth

Verdict

Frankie takes over the reins as Giovanni Di Bicci bids for a five-timer. He was successful over a mile here in February in this grade but has been found wanting on both previous occasions he's raced beyond that trip and VAN HUYSEN is preferred. The top weight hinted that a longer trip would suit when only managing the one pace when favourite over a mile at Lingfield last time. Hit List is sure to strip fitter for a run at Doncaster and preferred to Saturday's penalised Leicester winner Shining Romeo.
