In depth

Verdict

Copper Knight was always prominent when fourth at Newmarket earlier this month and will be fancied to put that experience to good use here. He's preferred to Awesome Allan, who just scraped home over course and distance two weeks ago and now has a penalty to carry. DR JULIUS NO is by Dick Turpin and a half-brother to a winning miler - he should have the pace for this and can make a winning debut. Legendary Lunch is another newcomer who is likely to be in the firing-line while Brian Meehan's pair Jet Setter and Son Castello should be worth noting for future reference.
