Verdict

The market is likely to be a good guide to this opener but Lieutenant Miller, who was third in the Cesarewitch when last seen, has to go on the short-list. Nicky Henderson has won this three times in recent year and Jeremiah McGrath rode a winner for the yard in a conditionals' race here last month. Seebright was making progress in the spring and won three times over hurdles last season while there should be mote to come from the lightly-raced Pay The King this season. Western Warhorse is similarly unexposed and Undertheboardwalk could be interesting back over hurdles but BIG CASINO had plenty in hand at Carlisle last month and may be capable of defying a big weight rise - the second has franked the form since.
