In depth

Verdict

A poor contest that should not take a great deal of winning and the vote goes to One Way Ticket, who is less exposed than the likes of Zap Attack and Irish Tycoon, who have each-way claims. The selection drops back in trip having failed to stay seven furlongs in his last two starts and, having run Polden Chief to three-quarters of a length over this trip previously, Milton Bradley's colt looks worth an investment in such poor company. Topweight Irish Tycoon has claims but has been beaten off a 3lb lower mark on each of his last three starts and may again have to settle for minor honours. Zap Attach races off the same mark as when third in his last two starts and now drops to sprint distances for the first time. That may be in desperation though and he is probably best watched. Beneking, Officer's Pink and I'm Magic are all worthy of a mention but One Way Ticket makes most appeal and gets the vote.
