In depth

Verdict

Mauricetheathlete can never be ruled out around here and he has his ground again. Chargen finally got off the mark at Fakenham last month but FOUROVAKIND is lightly raced and looked as though he'd be suited by the step up to 3m when ploughing through the mud to score at Uttoxeter four weeks ago. He can double up here as though Radmores Revenge travelled like a winner at Ffos Las on Monday and has won over this track and trip in the past, his best recent form has been over 2m4f. Invicta Lake has already enjoyed a successful season and rarely runs a bad race but Duke Of Monmouth needs some help from the handicapper and Joseph Mercer has disappointed since winning at Uttoxeter in November.
