Verdict

This race has traditionally thrown up a useful winner and ADHAM looks the one to be with. James Tate's colt won impressively at Lingfield and with engagements held in a number of the top juvenile races, he can take this prize en route to better things. Richard Hannon's stable managed a 36% strike rate with their two-year-old's at Chepstow last season and Receding Waves steps up in grade after landing a maiden at Redcar. Unilit won well over six furlongs at Pontefract and her fillies' allowance should be a help on this occasion. Silver Wings was second in the Lily Agnes Stakes at Chester but he is yet to add to a debut success at Windsor.
