Verdict

It's difficult to fault the consistency of either Spa's Dancer, third in a hot handicap at Sandown last Saturday, or Prince Of Sorrento, who hasn't finished out of the frame in his last eight starts and won on heavy ground at Yarmouth in May. But it could be worth giving another chance to WEAPON OF CHOICE, who has also kept good company this year and may just have a bit more scope. He saw too much daylight at Sandown last time and enjoys an 8lb pull in the weights with eventual runner-up Prince Of Sorrento. Tilsworth Glenboy has won twice this year but could be in the handicapper's grip now while Shavansky and Flaxen Flare both need to find a bit more in this grade.
