Verdict

Dilgura has come good lately and makes far more appeal than fellow hat-trick seeker Evanescent, who has been doing his winning in claimers. The latter's stablemate Bouclier appears better over shorter nowadays, as does Sir Billy Wright, while Justice First has never won on Turf. Doctor Bong won here last year, however, and returned to form at Salisbury when only beaten a neck. STEAL THE SCENE (NAP) is very consistent so the handicapper has given him a chance to get back to winning ways here having dropped him 4lb since his latest run in a better race at Newmarket.
