Verdict

Mainstream was slowly away on his reappearance at Salisbury but able to make up the ground easily and quickened in impressive fashion to score. He's learning with experience and will probably be backed to complete the hat-trick but faces another in-form rival in RED VERDON. Ed Dunlop's colt won over further at Chester earlier this month and may be better suited by the ground here than his likely market rival. Emperor Napoleon is getting closer but Rainbow Dreamer was beaten five lengths off this mark at Newbury. Gambit and Celebration Day both disappointed last time.
