Sailing By lost no caste in defeat in another seller on similar ground at Windsor last week and looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account which he is taken to do at the main expense of Careenya and Giggling Monkey. The last mentioned showed promise in this grade on his debut before disappointing in a maiden at Lingfield last time and he may do better back in plating class again. O'Casey is proving to be expensive to follow, while Smokeyourpipe was well beaten on his debut in a maiden and is hard to back with any confidence even in this lowly company. Careenya has a pedigree that suggests he should be suited by the ground and has to be respected but it is of concern that his in-form handler runs him in selling company on his debut. Sailing By looks a safer option though and he is preferred.
