Verdict

STAGE STAR stands out in a weak contest. Placed in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree in April, he’s a half-brother to a winner over timber and gets the vote. C'est Quelqu'u has placed over fences in France and debuts for a new yard fitted with a tongue-tie while Deeper Blue placed over hurdles at Warwick though was still beaten a long way. Crystal Moon, Young Butler and Breakwater Buoy are others to keep an eye on.
