Oblo showed improved form for being dropped to this grade for the first time when chasing home Grenane at Catterick last time and is taken to go one better today at the main expense of Dusty Devil and Wizby. The last mentioned represents the yard of David Evans that has done well with its juveniles this term and the daughter of Wizard King has claims on the evidence of all three starts but has yet to prove her effectiveness over six furlongs. Bincrafty has shown signs of ability in two starts in all-weather maidens and is interesting dropped in grade and stepped up in trip. Mick Channon's youngsters are on fire this term so it is worrying that Magical Music has given little sign for optimism so far but this does represent a drop in class for her. Bay Diamond comes from another yard that normally does well with its youngsters and is another worthy of a mention, along with Bill Turner's Dusty Devil, who is entitled to be thereabouts on the pick of his form. Oblo showed enough at Catterick last time to suggest that a race of this nature would be within his compass and is taken to open his account today.
