Verdict

Jimmy The Guesser is narrowly preferred to Creative Mind and Lyrical Sound in this competitive handicap. The selection has been knocking on the door of late and he certainly deserves to get his head in front. He proved that he sees out this trip at Sandown last time when finishing second Louie Louie and from a fair draw he is taken to score. Lyrical Sound won well over 7f at Leicester last time but she gave the impression that day that she would be suited by a step-up in trip. With this in mind she might find this a little on the sharp side. Creative Mind is closely-matched with Lyrical Sound on their running at Leicester last time and on these revised terms she should be capable of reversing the form with that rival today. Calypso King has been disappointing of late so is now tried over a longer trip and he should be noted in the market. However, for the winner we will return to Jimmy The Guesser.
