Aahayson is interesting on this ground but a wide draw makes life tough and so preference is for Green Manalishi who runs this track so well; Brave Prospector and Methaaly are both worthy of respect. The selection is well drawn once again in stall two, and with Kevin Ryan¿s horses in fair form, he should be backed to win here. Paul Hanagan is a man to count on in a crisis and assuming it doesn¿t soften too much, he looks the one in an open race. Look Busy is a credit to connections but has been berthed in the car park, as have Reverence and Burnwynd Boy who would otherwise have caught the eye. Eistedffod has claims but his best runs have come on a straight track, whilst Methaaly is on a role and it would be unwise to underestimate against as punters did at York. Que Peinsa Cat is a real unknown; she has come across from Argentina and the market may well help guide to her chances, although it must be said that the stable are out of form. Brave Prospector is interesting; he is a talented three-year-old but was disappointing after winning at York and he needs to prove himself around a tight turn. Hard to rule out many, however Green Manalishi can add to his two course wins.
