Geoff Wragg has farmed this event in recent times and can record his third consecutive success courtesy of Asian Heights, who gets the vote ahead of Razkalla, Compton Bolter and Spanish John. Asian Heights has had plenty of problems throughout his career but this proven Pattern performer has still managed to win four of his seven starts including the Group 3 September Stakes at Kempton last season. The son of Hernando was narrowly denied on his return when beaten a short head behind Warrsan in the John Porter Stakes at Newbury last month and the form was boosted by the winner who followed up in a Group 2 at Newmarket's Guineas meeting last weekend. Razkalla represents the David Loder yard that can do little wrong at present and this lightly raced five-year-old has to be feared after maintaining his unbeaten status with an impressive Listed success at Doncaster's Lincoln meeting. The son of Caerleon looks capable of better still and should have no difficulty in getting this longer trip but Compton Bolter is on a longish losing sequence and looks held by the selection on last month's Newbury form.
