Verdict

This looks a good opportunity for GREEN BERET who is taken to get the better of Noble Storm and Lucky Numbers. The selection hails from a yard in terrific form and although he disappointed last time at Newmarket over 6f, this drop in trip will suit and we are prepared to give him another chance. Noble Storm looks the main danger as he chased home Master Of Disguise at Sandown last time. He showed really good speed that day and he looks to be improving with his racing so he has to enter calculations. Lucky Numbers is another who looks to be on an upward curve and he just ran out of steam last time out. That was over 6f so the sharp 5f should suit and from a middle draw he has an obvious chance. Alan Berry does well with his runners here so City Dancer who has a good low draw can also go well. But Jimmy Fortune rides this track as well as anyone and he can steer Green Beret to victory.
