This has produced a much bigger field than normal and 12 of the 15 entries have winning form. Sleepy Joe won an ordinary Leicester maiden in good style and with a middle berth can get quickly into the action but several of the better fancied runners have wide draws which will be more difficult to overcome. They include Windsor winner Steventon Star, who may come out best of those berthed on the outside, and One Boy, who was backed to make a winning start at Redcar and did so with the minimum of fuss. QUATUOR made all and battled on strongly at Windsor and is taken to complete the double with another front-runner, Limegrove, expected to get into the mix despite a poor draw.
