Verdict

Ballydoyle often sends one over for this but they've had a couple of expensive failures since Admiralofthefleet won under Mick Kinane in 2007 and their representative this year, Astrology, was beaten twice in Group races after winning his maiden at Leopardstown. This longer trip will suit, however, and he looks the danger to BONFIRE. Andrew Balding's colt beat Wednesday's Cheshire Oaks third Cubanita on debut and may well have beaten 2000 Guineas runner-up French Fifteen on very soft ground in The Criterium International at Saint-Cloud subsequently had he not met trouble in running. Already a leading fancy for next month's Epsom Derby, he is the one to beat here. Kingsdesire is unbeaten in two runs but takes a steep rise in class and this also looks a big ask for Newbury second Uriah Heep, though he is improving.
