Hawridge King, Jawaaneb and Missoula look the three to concentrate on in this staying contest and the nomination is given to Hawridge King. The selection has been in good form of late and was a fair second behind Dig Gold last time out. He looks sure to appreciate the return to this longer distance and he also has ground conditions in his favour. Jawaaneb rates the main danger on his latest second behind Gee Dee Nen but he often finds less than expected offf the bridle and at the likely odds he looks worth taking on.
