There are a good number worthy of inspection in a competitive start to proceedings but we've opted for H HARRISON ahead of Mayoman and Just Oscar. Aggbag is sure to be popular following his win at Warwick and should go well if his jockey can hold a good position from his high draw whilst Bahamian Kid and Kildare Sun are others to note. Many Welcomes has a quietly progressive profile and this longer trip could see him take another step in the right direction whilst Nicky Vaughan's two runners need to be monitored for signs of market confidence. Another trainer that does well here is Mark Brisbourne and the fitting of blinkers may enable Just Oscar to leave the form of his latest run behind and the closest that he came to breaking his duck was over this course and distance under today's pilot. Jilly Why has some course form to her name but we've opted for another course specialist in H Harrison. He's not the force of old but is handicapped accordingly and is well drawn to adopt his front running tactics. His recent performances leave plenty to be desired but he has done well at this time of year in the past and should be a big enough price to be worth risking. Mayoman hasn't been the most consistent but he looked in need of this longer trip last time whilst cheekpieces may enable Glenridding to recapture his best form. Plenty have more solid claims but H Harrison may be able to roll back the clock.
