    Verdict

It is likely to be fast and furious around the turning five furlongs here with trail blazers such as Just The Lady, Lucky Art and Bahamian Ceilidh in the field and we will give the nod to JUST THE LADY who showed lightening speed to land a much weaker contest to this last time and was subsequently claimed by Dandy Nicholls. This will prove a much tougher test for Just The Lady but her gate pace which she maintained throughout last time was simply breathtaking despite the grade. She has not been spared throughout the season but that win was by far-and-away a career best effort. Doughnut scored over course and distance on her penultimate start and was simply outclassed in the Weatherby's Super Sprint in July. The form of her course win has worked out well with Madame Trop Vite since landing a pattern race double. She is a precious juvenile who knuckles down to the job when asked and sets the benchmark here. Lucky Art contested two hot northern maidens before breaking his maiden tag last time out, bouncing out and making all. The form has a mixed profile with the second since been comprehensively beaten next time while the third Dark Lane landed the consolation version of the DBS Sales Race at Newmarket. Aldermoor has the benefit of the rail draw in stall one. He landed a mighty 'touch' for connections when backed from 25-1 into an SP of 6-1 on debut. This five furlongs might be on sharp side for him given he is a big colt who should be better with a winter under his belt. To The Point and Doughnut are one apiece in their clashes. To the Point had Doughnut behind last time when a slight disappointment. She looked as if she was set to score at Windsor before bottoming out in the closing stages but a stall 14 draw here makes life very tough. Titus Andronicus looks rather one paced in the closing stages of his races and six furlongs on a quick surface could be his optimum. Bahamian Ceilidh missed the break at York last time and as front running tactics see her in the best light, her rider was not overly harsh on her when her chance had gone. Just The Lady is given the nod to land this nursery.
