In depth

Verdict

Original Choice is burdened with top weight having won nicely at Thirsk while Our Charlie Brown could have been better drawn after scoring at Catterick. Armandihan won a maiden at the latter track back in May and Intimate Art scored at Chelmsford recently and is proving best on the all-weather surfaces. Plant Pot Power has claims on his second over track and trip a fortnight ago though soft ground may prove a problem and DAN TROOP (NAP) is preferred. The latter came up just short at Beverley last time but landed a double before that and Connor Murtagh’s allowance could give him the edge in this.
