Recession Proof looked a potential star novice hurdler in the 2010/11 season but hasn't run since the Supreme Novices' at Cheltenham more than two years ago. Richard Fahey is striking while the iron is hot with Nashville, who ground down the opposition for a comfortable victory at Catterick on Wednesday. A 6lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big run but this could prove tough as there are several front-runners entered, including the three-year-olds Nateeja and Miss Tiger Lily. Stablemates Tijori and Filatore fought a battle at Chepstow and the latter may have enough in the locker to reverse the form while Gabrial's King stays the trip well and will be going on at the finish. SWINGING HAWK beat the latter over 1m5f here in May and stays this trip well enough. This will be just his fourth start of the campaign and he should be fit and fresh enough to take this for Ian Williams.
