Verdict

Night Singer scored over 1m1f at Gowran and has struggled over longer trips from his new mark subsequently. He can do better here but will find SUMMER GLOW a tough nut to crack. John Murphy's filly was having only her fifth career start when runner-up to stablemate Goldplated at Killarney in July and, as the winner has scored subsequently, the form looks good enough for this. Llew Law, who was behind the selection at Killarney, is unlikely to reverse placings but The Drunken Dr will come in for support after his fine run behind Leroy Parker at Sligo though that was on ground with plenty of give.
