Bathwick Scanno was well clear of the third when runner-up to Dance For Livvy on his hurdles bow at Hexham in June. That experience will stand him in good stead here but he is still a maiden under Rules. Red Riverman and Spartan King may have trouble with the trip but Hawridge Knight was placed over 1m4f on the Flat and Jack's Revenge won three times on the level earlier this year and will have been well schooled. DARK SPIRIT got her act together on the Flat when given a test of stamina, however, and can carry that improvement into this new sphere. Her latest second at Ffos Las was a further step up the ladder.
