The four-year-old Social Bandit hasn't shown much and faces a stiff task conceding weight to his younger rivals. A Smooth Criminal was up with the pace for most of the way over a mile on heavy ground at Leopardstown and should have come on for the run while Stoic Soul had shown some potential on testing going before a poor run at Navan. Summer's Dream looked to be travelling well on heavy going over an extended mile in a Cork handicap but weakened quickly. She may just have needed the run and can get into the frame. TIMINIYA is bred for middle-distances and couldn't go the early pace on her debut over a mile at Naas but she stuck on well in the closing stages and, with the longer trip certain to suit, can get off the mark.
