        Verdict

        General Tufto bids for a sixth course win in his 212th career start but the veteran hasn’t raced over a trip this far in almost three years. Slowfoot, still an entire at the age of 10, showed a glimmer of his former ability when second over 1m6f here in March while Go On Gal won here in the same month and has a good record on the track, though looks vulnerable off a 3lb higher mark. LEAN ON PETE has something to find with the latter on the form book but dropping back a furlong is in his favour and he can close the gap considerably on the revised terms.
