      Verdict

      Hakeem ran twice at Yarmouth in the first half of last year, winning a maiden on debut. But the surface is an unknown here and the lack of recent action also off-putting. VICTORY WAVE made a belated debut here three weeks ago but, after travelling on the bit throughout, ran out a convincing winner. A Dirt-bred full sister to two winners, she should make up for lost time this year. Sketching has shown promise on Polytrack and Tapeta and should make the frame again but it would be a surprise if Nevada had the pace for this.
