In depth

Verdict

Bobarlee was beaten a distance at Punchestown in May and though showing much improved form at Kilbeggan last month still looks vulnerable. SIMIEL attempted to make all on his debut at Limerick and though unable to cope with Escape Footwear that was no disgrace as the winner has since won very easily over hurdles. Henry De Bromhead's charge had the remainder well beaten and can go one better. Bowenscourt was beaten a long way when runner-up at Downpatrick and the remainder make no appeal.
