Verdict

EVERYTHING ZAIN had been progressing on the Flat before attracting good support on his hurdling debut at Roscommon where he found Top Man Michael just too strong. He started odd-on at Killarney two weeks later but again had to settle for second best behind Hurricane Ridge with the remainder well beaten. He can get off the mark here though Bigearsonmyright, who was around 10l behind the selection at Killarney, definitely improved when sent to Galway and should get closer this time. Danequest has twice finished behind the selection but Porterman who was another out with the washing at Killarney, wasn't suited by front-running and can do much better as he did on his debut at Tramore.
