Verdict

Brendan Bracken is the top rated here and a genuine Listed-class performer with nine victories to his credit, including this in 2014. It will be a surprise if he's not involved in the finish though his best form has been on ground with some give. ROSE DE PIERRE won this last year and also beat tonight's rival Marshall Jennings narrowly in a similar contest at Leopardstown in April. She couldn't get to Rehanna in a Group 3 at Naas the following month but should be good enough here. The Free Handicap winner Whitecliffsofdover has failed to build on that victory though he's been taking on better class and looks better at this stage than stablemates Sir John Lavery and Pavlenko. Dubai Sand ended his first campaign winning at this level at Leopardstown and has been racing in stronger company, including behind Capri in the Irish Derby.
