In depth

Verdict

DRAYCOTT PLACE (NAP) is in tremendous form and, providing the ground doesn't dry out, should complete a double initiated with a very easy victory at Sligo. He could have been on a hat-trick as he was going well when falling at Listowel earlier and his previous run behind Hidden Cyclone over hurdles has been given a boost by the winner. A Decent Excuse has finished runner-up three times over hurdles in recent weeks but reverts to fences on an 11lb higher mark so faces a stiff task. Upazo has plenty of strong form in novice company and Willie Mullins will be keen for him to kick on this season and though Darwins Fox has been absent since last summer his close second in a Grade 3 handicap at Aintree earlier is the stand-out form here. Tell Us More is another returning from a break and he looked a smart novice who would probably have won a Grade 2 at Navan but for falling at the second last.
