In depth

Verdict

Crystal Pearl had shown potential before landing a Limerick maiden in June and the lack of a recent run is no problem for one from this yard. The veteran Mississippi River ran his best race for a long time when runner-up to Lets High Five It at Thurles and has winning form around here but High In The Clouds looks better over further. INISHTURK LAD has yet to win over timber but went very close here a couple of weeks ago when a mistake at the last may have cost him victory. A 4lb rise won't help but this is only his sixth race over hurdles and he can shrug off the extra. Seeyouallincoppers has won once in 20 starts over hurdles but has run enough good races to be competitive, despite a big weight. Dr Waluigi has been a beaten favourite the last twice and this doesn't look any easier.
