Verdict

FLIGHT RISK hasn't won over a trip this far but was so impressive when landing a Group 3 at Leopardstown over 7f that he can take the step-up in his stride. Sea Wolf has to be a major threat as he's raced here three times and won them all including a couple of tough handicaps over the trip. Alexios Komnenos is a bit of an unknown having run only twice but if repeating his close second behind Churchill at Leopardstown last July he would prove very difficult to beat. Texas Rock is improving with age and will love the conditions better than most but Mjjack is taking a big leap in grade after landing a Class 4 handicap at Haydock though wouldn't be travelling here without good reason. Dermot Weld won the race last year with Sruthan so Foxtrot Charlie, who was behind his stable companion that day, shouldn't be ignored.
