Verdict

Boom And Bloom is 2lb out of the handicap but Ian Brennan's claim will be a help and she had some strong form for Richard Fahey last season. CORE ELEMENT looked the likely winner over this trip at Gowran last week but was caught right on the line by Ondeafears. She's been raised just 1lb and, with Ross Coakley claiming 7lb, she looks well enough weighted to go one better. Man Of Erin looks the biggest threat as three of his four victories, including one over this track and trip, have been gained with Johnny Murtagh in the saddle. Winning Impact was leading at today's trip before being caught by Maude Adams over a mile here last time so he should be in the mix along with Little Arrows, who is very well weighted at his best.
