Verdict

With his stable in superb form, Club Wexford will be fancied to add to his lone success after dropping 27lb in the ratings. He didn't enjoy testing ground at Sligo on Wednesday after running well in his three previous races. Texas Rock is 1lb lower than his last winning mark and made a bold bid to lead all at Leopardstown. He'll like the fast ground and his young rider's claim reduces his burden. DEEDS NOT WORDS (NAP) won six times in the UK for Mick Channon but has failed to add to that total for Jonny Levins. However, he was unlucky in-running over 6f at Fairyhouse last time and remains on a low enough mark to gain his first success in Ireland. I Will Excel has never won despite several fine recent efforts but a 7lb claimer should aid his cause and it will be a surprise if he's not in contention again.
