Verdict

MRS KING, an easy maiden winner at Tipperary last summer, then ran in a Group 3 at this track but didn't reappear until May where she ran well for a long way. She'll need to find some improvement but with her yard in sparkling form a chance is taken that she can do so. Aspen Mountain has to be a major threat after just failing to concede 5lb to The Mouse Doctor at Killarney. That was only his fourth start so there should be plenty more to come. Aridity comfortably beat The Mouse Doctor at Naas which suggests he's well in and he didn't enjoy the soft ground on a return visit. Rezeki hasn't been seen since landing a Dundalk maiden in October but stable companion Castle Guest has been running very well without winning though this looks on the short side, a remark that also applies to Western Boy.
