In depth

Verdict

Most of Ireland's top amateurs are engaged here but one of the least experienced, Helen Mooney, should get a good ride from Swiftmarc. She was on board when Dessie Hughes' charge won easily at Tramore last month and would almost have followed up at Killarney but for his rider losing her whip in the closing stages. End Of The Affair is held on that form but NATURAL HIGH, sure to get a good ride from Robbie McNamara, looks well weighted after his third to St Leger hope Rajik at Galway where he didn't please everyone by swishing his tail in the closing stages. He looks capable of better while Fisher Bridge is sure to attract support under Nina Carberry despite only scrambling home from today's rival Admiral Barry over the C&D in June. Classy hurdler Ainama has the experienced Alan Berry in the plate and should get involved while the consistent Paramount can produce a big effort under Katie Walsh.
