Verdict

Kevin Prendergast has won the last two renewals and will be hoping TASHQEEL can complete the hat-trick. His short-head defeat by Whipless over 6f here last time is the best form on view and he'll be difficult to beat. Aidan O'Brien has a quartet of entries and Johnny Murtagh chooses Diamond Brooch, who will stay middle-distances next season. Stablemate Oracle finished behind Tashqeel here and there's no reason for a reversal of form but the Galileo colt First Sea Lord is a very interesting newcomer from the yard. Vastitas made a nice start behind Juliet Capulet for Jim Bolger and will have learnt plenty while Dermot Weld's Rich Tapestry is from the family of the stable's brilliant pair Refuse To Bend and Media Puzzle. Hadrian's Waltz is one to keep an eye on for the future as she's a half-sister to five winners including the useful Bankable.
