DARK VADER makes a quick reappearance after leading for a long way in a 7f Leopardstown Listed contest on Tuesday. His young rider scored on him at Dundalk in March and, with his 7lb claim taken into account, Joseph O'Brien's charge looks on a very handy mark. Nordic Passage also returns quickly having won easily at Naas on Monday. He has a 6lb penalty to overcome but will going up by much more and is an obvious threat. Arcanears has a course and distance victory to his credit and was in excellent form at Dundalk over the winter and Ice Cold In Alex is rarely out of the money and ran a cracking race when a close third in a Leopardstown premier handicap, though is better over a bit further. He was staying on strongly behind Verhoyen when tackling an extra half-furlong here in June and the winner loves it around here
