Cable Bay has raced almost exclusively at Group level since her maiden victory almost two years ago. He is rarely beaten far and will like the conditions. Fellow UK raiders Sovereign Debt and That Is The Spirit are also well worth a look with the latter having won his first three races last season and sure to be ready on his reappearance. Sruthan won this last year and continued in good form throughout the summer but this looks another destined for Ballydoyle. Three-year-olds have a poor record though few are entered so the presence of Smuggler's Cove is intriguing. He's engaged in all the forthcoming major races so connections must have high hopes but stablemate DUE DILIGENCE (NAP) is the form pick. Formerly trained in the USA, he completed a double at Naas early last summer before giving Slade Power a fright in the Diamond Jubilee at Ascot, a tremendous run for a three-year-old.
