Verdict

David Barron wouldn't be one for wasting journeys and Gunmetal's victory at Newmarket was a very smart performance in a tough handicap. Kindly has been handed a 7lb penalty for all-the-way victory at Fairyhouse on Wednesday and she has to be considered while the three-year-old Hello Brigette showed herself ideally suited by the trip and fast ground at Leopardstown. Ice Age has been running really well in the UK and has an excellent strike-rate while David O'Meara has enjoyed plenty of success in Ireland and INTISAAB is 9-36 on Turf and has won from a higher mark. The latter gets the vote as though Rattling Jewel has been involved in three tight finishes recently he is too far out of the handicap to consider.
