Verdict

MARIE'S DIAMOND has to be the form pick on his close second to Van Beethoven in the Group 2 Railway Stakes here three weeks ago though the latter's yard is doubly represented. Fantasy got off the mark at the fifth time of asking in a Navan maiden but looks the type to go on improving though Just Wonderful looks the stable pick. A winner on her debut here, she started favourite in the Albany Stakes but pulled very hard and got no sort of run. She'll be a threat while Gee Rex is another who didn't get the run of the race in the Coventry at Ascot where he could have finished very much closer. Viadera looked a nice prospect when landing what looked a decent a maiden here and Jim Bolger sends Cruciatus on a retrieving mission after he could only finish third at Naas when well supported.
