In depth

Verdict

Dixiedoodledandy was a big disappointment when strongly fancied at Bellewstown on Thursday and needs to bounce back while Battleroftheboyne ran a shocker at Sligo just four days after an excellent second at Galway. Faleena has been unable to cope with a big weight rise for scoring at Bellewstown and Secret Millionaire has shown nothing in two starts since joining Dermot Weld from the UK. Ucanchoose was an impressive winner at Naas in July but the assessor took his revenge with a massive 15lb rise and he was well beaten next time. BIG BAD LILY is very speedy and almost made all at Bellewstown on Wednesday. She was only caught close home and as that was just her fourth start of the year so she should be at her peak and can take this.
