In depth

Verdict

GOD WILLING only succumbed by the minimum margin this week in a driving Redcar finish and may well gain compensation if able to repeat that level here. He has not always proved the most reliable of customers but gets on well with Ger O'Neill and can hopefully deliver the goods with trip and ground to suit. Mr Tyrrell remains a maiden despite a plethora of placed efforts and sooner or later he's surely going to enter the winner's enclosure. He seems sure to run his race once again and is respected. Dark Magic can get involved off topweight along with the consistent Steal The Scene and Lucky Louie. The latter is yet another on show here who is so consistent but finds winning hard as six runner-up efforts from his last seven starts amply demonstrates.
