In depth

Verdict

With six intended runners in the field it is safe to assume that David Nicholls is keen on taking the lions share of the profits today and his best chance could be with Loyal Tycoon, who is expected to be a different proposition now that he has a couple of runs behind him this term. There are plenty of dangers though and the likes of Ragamuffin, Undeterred and Million Percent all have claims from those drawn high. While Armagnac, the hat-trick seeking Maddie¿s A Jem and Hiccups each have chances if the can get involved from their side. However, Loyal Tycoon is back on a favourable mark and can reverse Pontefract form with his frustrating stablemate Lincoln Dancer as is much the better drawn today.
