Verdict

Art Scholar is only a couple of pounds higher than when scoring over C&D last month but he has a bit to find to overturn Kempton running in June with Incendo. Silvery Moon has been in good form over a mile but didn't appear to stay when tried over this longer trip last year while Suits Me appears to be on a downward curve. Cool Macavity is probably still in the handicapper's grip, while Fulgur and Unex Michelangelo return from a break as does CONDUCT. It's almost two years since the latter saw a racecourse but Sir Michael Stoute clearly thinks he's worth persevering with and, very lightly-raced, it would be no surprise if he were to prove a bit better than this grade in time - the unbeaten five-year-old is given a tentative vote.
