Jazz squandered what looked a good opportunity when only third at Kempton last time. He remains a leading contender with a mark of 83 but RESOLUTE may well find enough improvement to come out best. The latter made a promising start in soft ground at Yarmouth last month and normal progress should see him go close. Aran Sky and Percy's Gal are others likely to be thereabouts given their experience but Nova Champ has plenty to find with Jazz on official ratings. Of the newcomers, both Almax and Findhorn Magic are out of prolific mares and William Buick's presence on Direct Times takes the eye.
