In depth

Verdict

A particularly tricky race with Nemo Fugat taken to score from the in-form Branston Tiger, the consistent Online Investor and the rejuvenated Grey Cossack. The selection ran well at Chester on his last appearance and with a good draw can win this for a stable who is just starting to hit peak form. Branston Tiger runs from a yard who have their sprinters in good form and with previous good form at the course and on the back of a solid recent victory he has the ability to run the selection close. Grey Cossack came fast and late to beat Tommy Smith last time out having looked beaten a furlong out. A reproduction of that form for his new connections should see him run well. Online Investor has been mixing it in better quality races than this of late. He ran well at Goodwood earlier this week and the fact he is turned out again so quickly suggests connections are happy with his progress.
