Verdict

We will side with MAIL DE BIEVRE in this bumper, ahead of Transact and Kayf Commander. The selection was a game winner here on his debut, looking very much at home on the testing surface. The four-year-old hasn't been seen since then but this longer trip will be right up his street as he matures and he looks to have a bright future. Coming from the in-form Alan Swinbank yard Transact makes his racecourse debut here and he could be of interest, especially if the market speaks in his favour. Six-year-old Kayf Commander ran a career best effort last time out, and the good to soft ground seemed to suit. Mel Brittain's gelding may be hitting some from and is definitely worth watching. Cocoa Key and Barron Watlass have only shown moderate form so far, and Mail de Bievre is put forward to make it back-to-back wins.
